Use Audacity (free download) or equivalent software to record local audio. Squadcast will also generate a backup audio file. Name your file “s20eXX_Yourname”, export as .flac level 5. Send file to [email protected] (Google Drive or WeTransfer)
<aside> ☕ Recording Checklist • Wear headphones. • Use your best microphone. Make sure it is selected as the audio input for both Audacity and Squadcast. • Choose a quiet recording environment, with as little background noise as possible. • Video is optional. It will make the Squadcast conversation more natural, but won’t be used in the episode itself. • If you make any verbal mistakes, or if unexpected background noises happen while you are talking, clap your hands and start the sentence again. (Feel free to do this as often as needed. We will edit the audio to remove any mistakes before releasing the episode.)
